User registration open

User registration is now open.  Bit by bit I'm getting the site moving along.  User blogs are in the works. As well as other things.

Registration isn't necessary to post comments.  Many layers of spam filtering have been turned on so the junk should hopefully be kept at bay.Two posts in one day.  Wow.
