I have torn into the Mr & Mrs Pac-Man pinball game taking nearly everything off of the playfield that I can.  Pictures can be found here of what I did before and after.  The playfield is chewed up pretty bad with ball swirls but I have did some cleaning that has helped.  I'll get pics of that work up later in the gallery.  

I started with simple grean to clean the playfield but I was getting no where with it.  Sure it was cleaning it but it wasn't cutting into it like I thought it should.  I then switched to the Mr Clean magic eraser pads (original) along with 70% isopropyl alcohol as the wetting agent instead of water.  I probably should have used the 90% kind but I didn't want to cut the paint too easily. It's like sand paper with kick so you have to be careful.  I found that alternating circles, clockwise / counter clockwise, got the best results.Of course it's just matching to the swirls so that makes sense.

The results?  So far it has worked wonders with the ball swirls in the playfield. It's not perfect but they are not as pronounced.  This will be a players machine so I'm not that worried.

I found this today on shooter lane repair and while my lane is decent I think I may try it.  The lane could use a good sanding as it is chewed a little.
